“I cannot view my paradise without the wish of dwelling there” – Byron

In this menu you will find a list of collected works and presentations I’ve done on Lord Byron, one of my many favourite authors.

Why Byron? Simply; controversial, self-inserted characters, Byronic Hero, travelogues, versatile style of writing, romanticism in sublime-maternal nature, sophisticated (in his own baron ways) and an anti-hero against authority and societal conventions.

“In Thee I fondly hoped to clasp; A friend whom death alone could sever; Till envy, with malignant grasp, Detach’d thee from my breast for ever” – from ‘Hours of Idleness’ – Byron
